Cambridge swimming pool

We're upgrading Cambridge's existing outdoor swimming pool - plus expanding the facility and building a brand new 10-lane 25m pool and learner's pool.

Waipā Discovery Centre

We want to create a space that tells the rich history and unique stories of the Waipā district, including the role our district played in the New Zealand land wars.

Cycleways and walkways

We want to share our district, and encourage healthy lifestyles through the creation of a network of cycleways and walkways.

Waipuke Park

To build a new recreation space on the banks of Lake Karāpiro which provides a safe swimming space for children and allows for passive recreational water sports including kayaking, paddle boarding and sailing.

Climax steam engine

House a fully restored Climax steam engine, with a working history in Te Awamutu, in a protected public space.
